Events - Icon Finder Guide

This guide explains how to use the Icon Finder in the Events screen to select appropriate icons for your event buttons.

Overview​

The Icon Finder allows you to assign visual icons to events in the IDE Flow Events screen. By selecting meaningful icons, you can make event buttons more intuitive and visually distinguishable for end-users.

Opening the Icon Finder​

  1. Go to the IDE Flow designer.
  2. Open the Events tab for the relevant component (e.g., Flow Pauser, Approval Canceller).
  3. Click on the Icon field within the selected event’s Properties panel.
  4. Click on the ellipsis (...) button to launch the Icon Finder window.

Using the Icon Finder​

Search for Icons​

  • Use the search bar at the top to quickly find icons by name.
  • For example, typing approve will filter icons like action-approval.

Browse Icons​

  • Icons are displayed in a paginated list.
  • You can navigate between pages using the pagination controls at the bottom.

Preview Icons​

  • Each icon displays a visual preview along with its system name (e.g., action-approval, add-flow).

Select an Icon​

  1. Click on the icon you want to use.
  2. The selected icon name will automatically populate the Icon field.
  3. Click OK to confirm your selection.
